The Chutima family took over Lotus of Siam, then on East Sahara Avenue, in November 1999. In September 2017 a storm brought the ceiling down in that room and closed it, and the family took over 620 East Flamingo Road, the space Roy's had occupied, opening there on December 11, 2017. Penny Chutima, daughter of owners Bill and Saipin Chutima, manages the Flamingo Road restaurant; Saipin cooks. The room was fitted with murals and printed fabrics and papers imported from Thailand.

The Flamingo Road location of Lotus of Siam serves northern Thai cooking from Saipin Chutima daily, 5pm to 10pm, just east of the Las Vegas Strip. Order from the Mom's Highlight section first, and bring four people for the pod pad pong karee.

Does the Flamingo Road location take reservations?
Yes. The Flamingo Road restaurant books through its own OpenTable page, separate from the Sahara Avenue room. Large parties go through a separate request form.

How is this different from the Sahara Avenue location?
It is a second room, opened in December 2017 in the former Roy's space while the original East Sahara restaurant was closed for storm repairs. Both are run by the Chutima family.
