Mizumi occupies the space next to the main entrance of Wynn Las Vegas, built around gardens, a koi pond and a 90-foot waterfall. Jeff Okada Ramsey joined as executive chef in 2024. He trained under master sushi chef Masayoshi Kazato, worked alongside José Andrés at Minibar, led Tapas Molecular Bar at Mandarin Oriental Tokyo, and later opened restaurants across Southeast Asia including Kintsugi in Thailand. Since arriving he has broken the restaurant into separate dining experiences, each with its own identity.

Common questions

What is Sansui?

Mizumi's outdoor terrace: four tables set beside the waterfall, available by request only with a food and beverage minimum. Three smaller patio tables carry no minimum.

Is the Teppan Room the same reservation as the dining room?

No. Teppan Room seating, service and menu are separate, and it takes its own advance reservation.

Can I walk up and sit at the bar?

Bar seating is managed through the host podium in coordination with the sushi chefs, not first-come. Parties larger than four cannot be seated at the bar.

What are the hours and the dress code?

Sunday to Thursday 5pm to 10pm, Friday and Saturday 5pm to 10:30pm. Dress code is upscale casual chic; shorts and open-toe shoes are not permitted for men, and children under five are not admitted.
